Overview

Salts are mineral-based ingredients that can serve many different purposes in a formula. Depending on the type, they may help soften and condition the skin, create texture, support cleansing, adjust consistency, or turn an ordinary bath into a soothing soak.

At Lovebee, we use salts such as sea salt, Epsom salt, and mineral-rich varieties for the specific qualities they bring to a product. Some dissolve easily into bath water, while others add gentle exfoliation or help create the right feel and performance in scrubs, soaks, and cleansing formulas.

Each salt is chosen with its intended use in mind, including its mineral composition, grain size, purity, and how it works alongside the other ingredients. Even simple ingredients can play an important role when they are selected thoughtfully.
