Overview

Surfactants are cleansing ingredients that help water lift away oil, dirt, and everyday buildup. They also create the bubbles and lather many people associate with shampoos, body washes, hand soaps, and other rinse-off products.

At Lovebee, we use gentle, naturally derived surfactants such as coco-glucoside and caprylyl/capryl glucoside. These plant-based cleansers are chosen for their mildness and their ability to cleanse effectively without relying on harsher synthetic detergents.

Surfactants can behave differently depending on how they are blended, balanced, and used within a formula. We carefully combine them with soothing and conditioning ingredients to create products that cleanse well while still feeling comfortable on the skin and hair.
