Overview

Water and solvents help dissolve, carry, and evenly distribute ingredients throughout a formula. Water often forms the base of products such as lotions, creams, mists, shampoos, and cleansers, while other natural solvents help ingredients blend properly and perform as intended.

At Lovebee, we choose these ingredients based on the needs of each formula. Some help botanical extracts or active ingredients dissolve more effectively, while others improve texture, application, or absorption without adding unnecessary heaviness.

Although they may seem simple, water and solvents play an important role in how a product feels, functions, and remains consistent. We use them thoughtfully and pair them with suitable preservation whenever a formula contains water.
