What it is
Jasmine Hydrosol is the water collected when jasmine flowers are processed for their aromatic compounds. It carries a gentle, sweet, floral character — much softer than the intensity typically associated with jasmine absolute.
Where it comes from and how it’s made
Jasminum officinale is grown widely across warm, temperate regions. The water collected during processing is bottled separately as the hydrosol.
What it does in a formulation
As a light, fragrant water, Jasmine Hydrosol is used in place of some or all of the water in a formula, bringing a soft floral note into the finished product.
Why Lovebee uses it
Jasmine has such a beloved, romantic reputation, and the hydrosol lets us bring a gentle version of that character into a formula without the heaviness of the concentrated absolute.
