A light, softly citrusy water co-produced from lemon peel.
What it is
Lemon Hydrosol is the water collected alongside lemon’s essential oil. It carries a much gentler version of lemon’s bright, zesty character.
Where it comes from and how it’s made
Lemons are grown widely across warm, subtropical regions. The water collected during processing of the peel is bottled separately as the hydrosol.
What it does in a formulation
As a light, fragrant water, Lemon Hydrosol is used in place of some or all of the water in a formula, giving the finished product a soft citrus note.

We like this one where we want just a whisper of lemon’s brightness rather than the full punch of the essential oil.
